              He exclaims things like nodders, or yagoo, or hrmhrm, and the first time folks ask him what he means, he just smiles and keeps dancing, but the second time folks ask him, insistent on fishing some shiner of meaning from his utterances, he tastes silence and retreats inside himself, where his words hide in the tree leaves as songbirds.
